Although ap&m europe does generate lots of traffic for our exhibitors, that’s not the core of what the show is all about – ap&m europe is first & foremost about the networking, only some of which happens on exhibitors stands. Meet the Buyers takes care of the formal element of networking, and our receptions take care of a large part of the other key component – socialising. Aviation people know how to have a good time – and so do we.
Welcome Reception, Tuesday 7th May - Open to all VIP badge holders, buyers, full and partial delegates, the welcome reception for ap&m europe is where the drink flows, old acquaintances are caught up on and new friends made. With well over 500 people in attendance, you have to be a hermit not to find someone to talk to.
Post Meet the Buyers Reception, Wednesday 8th May – After 3 solid hours of back-to-back meetings, our buyers and vendors (especially the buyers) are ready for a drink and a chance to unwind, which is why hold a reception for them (and all VIP badge holders and full delegates) in our centrally located VIP Lounge (hosted by SDV). Ending early enough for everyone to grab a drink and have a chat before they go out and hit the town at the assorted events (including our own ATEM Awards Gala Dinner) being hosted across London by a wide array of our exhibitors, sponsors and industry bigwigs.
ATEM Awards, Wednesday 8th May – Now in its fifth year, the ATEM Awards, run in conjunction with our flag ship publication, Aircraft Technology Engineering & Maintenance, has become a highlight of the aviation social calendar and for 2013 it will be held at Shakespeare’s Globe on London’s South Bank.
