Turkish Technic Wins Two New Contracts

Flydubai Opts For NYCO Oil
NYCO has announced that Middle Eastern low-cost carrier flydubai has selected Turbonycoil 600, a synthetic standard turbine oil, for use in its fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft.
Newbow Launches Digital Tire Gauges
Newbow Aerospace, a manufacturer and supplier of ground support equipment, has unveiled a range of digital tire pressure checking gauges and digital strut service tools. The tire pressure checking gauges are calibrated to an accuracy of +/-0.4% FS which Newboy says allows optimum aircraft tyre pressure settings to be achieved. Meanwhile, the digital strust service tool is capable of exceeding pressures of 5000 psi at an accuracy of 0.4% FS.
Part-Out Specialists Lukewarm On Second Hand A380s
As second hand Airbus A380 aircraft start to flow into the market with the likes of Portuguese charter carrier Hi-Fly picking up two of the aircraft grounded by Singapore Airlines last month, asset management specialists see little opportunity in taking the aircraft off the hands of operators for teardown purposes, an ap&m summit panel heard.
Monarch Anticipates More Line Station Openings
Monarch Aircraft Engineering plans to open more line maintenance stations in the U.K. and Europe in 2018. An existing strategy to set up one to two new locations annually domestically and on the continent will also be supplemented by another project targeting three additional U.K. line station openings in the next few months, says David Doherty, Monarch’s head of commercial.

The MRO market in Western Europe is expected to grow by 2.1% per annum to £16 billion by 2027, according to ICF International forecast data.
Airlines To Benefit Most From Analytics, Poll Says
In a poll held at AP&M Europe in London on Tuesday (May 29), 70% of respondents believe airlines will benefit most from utilizing analytics for predictive maintenance. 21% felt OEMs would benefit most followed by MROs who polled 9%.
